For Monkey Android users follow the instructions below:
Go to your profile and tap SETTINGS on the upper right. Tap About Monkey > Delete Account > Delete My Account3. Follow the on-screen instructions.4. Tap I'm sure.5. Type DELETE and then tap Delete My Account. Note: DELETE must be in all uppercase letters.
Your account will be permanently deleted one month from the date you activate this request. You have 30 days to cancel the deletion process and reactivate your account.
For Monkey Web users: please provide us with your user information and we will delete your account.
When you delete your account, you have 30 days to cancel the deletion process and reactivate your account. After 30 days, your profile, moments, bananas, followers, and DMs will be permanently removed. After you delete your account, you cannot sign up again with the same username or add that username to another account, and we can't reactivate deleted accounts past 30 days.
To cancel the deletion process and reactivate your account:
Open the app and tap log in with the phone number. Enter your mobile number and tap Next to receive an SMS with the first verification code (you will repeat this step to get a second verification code in step 5). Enter the verification code and tap Continue. Tap Reactivate My Account. Tap log in with your phone number and enter your mobile number (this is separate from step 1, you must get a second verification code for your activated account). Tap Next to receive an SMS with the NEW verification code. Enter the second verification code and tap Continue to be logged on to your account.
